The stories ...THE BEST OF CLASSIC PUNK ROCK & SKA ....are 1st & foremost a "very people /entertaining " band & it works! as they have played over 520 ! shows & to 1000"s of people so far in thier career .
The stories: are a classic punk rock/ska covers band & they are very busy & have been on the road for the last 6/7 years .
The stories play a blend of classic punk rock & classic ska numbers ranging from their excellent covers of "sex pistols" ,"the clash","the jam ","joy division" ,"stiff little fingers" ,"buzzcocks" & other punk classics to excellent covers of ska classics from "the specials" & "the beat" & mod classics by "the who"& also modern day classics by the likes of green day & the kiaser chiefs
PUNK ROCK ? you may think ? but whoooah Dont Worry ! 98% of the songs they play have been at one time in the charts & people who come to watch them say & quote many times "a night with the stories on stage is like opening again their old record collection"
The stories have played many venues ,pubs,clubs ,music festivals & played some fantastic scooter & biker rallies alike as the music they play is "acceptable" from all genres & in their career have also supported the worlds No 1 sex pistols tribute band "SEX PISTOLS EXPERIENCE " .bass player KID VICIOUS SAYS :" The stories are one of "the best" bands to ever support us ,great band & a fantasic front man we wish them all the best in the future".
The stories unlike also incorpriate the best sound out of the band suited to each venue& "also understand" the sound rules & regulations that venues have to adere to in this day & age .
The stories are reknown for playing long encores & giving the public & venues alike excellent value concerts ....
The stories are available to play most friday & saturday nights & sunday afternoons .
