2000 pubs have closed since 2008 budget. The Chancellor already takes 33% of a pint of beer. Now he wants more.
This coupled with the smoking ban, equals disaster for pubs/venues and thus bands and punters/fans alike.

As we all found out, the premise of noise control devices becoming mandatory in venues was a hoax. An email from no 10 Downing Street just dropped in my inbox with a response to the petition which I, like many others, signed. Have a goosey gander! ~ At least the Government know there'd be a major outcry if they did!
