Dresden North End - The Review

Once again a brilliant night at the Welly

Firstly I would like to say a big Thanks (again) to these guys for standing in at the last minute.

They were indeed our silver lining this weekend,

the music was superb and totally up our street, just the right era for all our regulars

you can never have too much Clash, Jam, Blondie etc.

We all had an absolute blast, dancing and singing along abusing the band, who all took it very well.

They didn't even seem to mind that we didn't want them to stop playing at the end of the night, and forced what was probably a much longer encore to what they would normally play.

So thanks again for a great night, we hope to have you back soon.

And thanks to Dirk (Wind of Change) for coming down to show us some support

and a couple of other NWBers that popped in although we weren't introduced, your support is appreciated.

Donna & Darren
.x.

We had a ball, no bassist, drummers car snowed in , 3 round trips of 75 miles, 25 bass lines to learn, new venue, new crowd.
It turned out great. Nice boozer, friendly crowd, with the fog-machine and lasers it was like punk floyd. Can't wait to do it all again.
Cheers Donna & Darren

Hiya Dean
Phil played, jimi the bassist couldn't make it so I had to do it. We had a great gig though. Sound was a bit thin with one guitar but I think we got away with it.
See ya later
