Unplugged and Acoustic and shitting it.

Got a busy weekend ahead, Friday night at The Welly in Dalton , Sunday at Bootleggers Kendal and Monday night at the Longlands near Carnforth.
Anyway, the Sunday gig is a complete change for us , we were approached and asked if we would do an acoustic / unplugged set at our favourite haunt while they are having some renovation work done. Smaller scale, down to the bare bones sort of thing. " Sure, no problem I cry ....."

Now the day is looming and I realise that stripping kick-ass heavy rock tunes down to a couple of acoustic guitars, bass, snare drum and brushes doesn`t quite work with every tune. Some of the real screamers for instance don`t work at all.
Now having to trawl our set to pick the ones that fit, and hastily learn a few more for Sundays set.

Has anyone else done the unplugged stylee,? or can any of you guys suggest any classic rock ytunes that lend themselves to it ?

bit nervy if I`m honest.

Yeh we've done the acoustic thing before now! It certainly exposes any 'weaker' areas!!
My tip would be squeeze in a vocal practice beforehand: microphones can be set at different levels but your voice cant!!

Have a great gig!
