Two Gigs and an invite to jam with us this Sunday.
After a crazy week of juggling things about, fixing strats, mending amps and ordering Rotovibes.... Im gonna have some fun this weekend and it starts tonight!!!
Yep tonight we're over at The Flaming Galah in Altrincham from around 9 ish, still to confirm if we're doin the Chop & Dean thing as Chop isn't out of bed yet and not answerin his phone, homo. Last time we played there it was the start of our Xmas extravaganza and it was top.
Saturday night Chop & Dean are off doing a wedding, of which we're dj'ing AT too and have been instructed not to play 'any standard wedding shite' and to rock it up all the way, real do.
Then Sunday at The Woolpack, Radcliffe. One of my fave venues as its local to me, great beer, real music fans jobsagooden. We have a different bass player with us on this one off occasion that comes in the form of the Great Roberto who has come highly recomended... and lets face it you must be good if you can step in for The Grandfunkmiester Collinge at a moments notice. All kicks off around 4.30ish.
So after we've finished playing on Sunday at around 7ish 'The Blues Jam' begins!!! Don't be put off by it bein' blues, you ca play pretty much what you like, just as long as it isn't screamy shouty kill your mother death metal shit that is. As my gears there im leaving it set up for all to use... There is also a bass amp and a kit!!! So if you fancy sticking around after the gig or just making it down for the jam... please do. It'll give us more of a chance to meet some of you and just have a jam.
Also befor I piss off, the woolpack are always looking for new bands to come and play. So come down Sunday have a word or a jam odds are you'll get a jig.
