Ok. Just to let you know I am not looking for a second guitarist for the trio!!!

I am however helping on the mission to set up a band for my best mate Chop and my good friend Nicola....!!!

So If you are a guitar player who fancies playing fairly regular, adding there own input to the band, playing some great tunes with a great drummer and a frigtening singer then get in touch...!!!

Own gear and transport is a must also the ability to play would be nice.

WIDDLY, WANKY, SPEED FREAKS NEED NOT APPLY!!!

If this is you you can either contact me though here or on 07854 757 825 or contact Chop directly on tel no. 07955 267 339

Get in touch

Much love

Yes mate Nicola was there Sunday, she's a demon on the skins. she sits in with us when Big Mart cant play... Did you manage to speak to Mart about the lessons?

Sam - To be honest theyre influenced by everythin from old jazz to steeley dan, thin lizzy, motown to bon jovi and aerosmith... be lookin to play tunes they enjoy really, nothing too heavy. willing to have a crack at more modern stuff also not just the classic stuff, so long as its a good ol' tune.

I would be interested. Have own gear and transport. Been out of circulation but looking to get back into it.

Manchester based and blues/rock influenced. Starts with rhythm but can throw a lead when needed. More Gibbons/Young/Moore these days than Hetfield/Mustaine. Not a bad singer if needed but usual "sing and play at the same time" gremlin with the tricky stuff!

Could start with:

Boys are Back in Town
Back in Black/Live Wire/Thunderstruck
All right now
Slither (Velvet Revolver)
Oh Well
All my Life/Learn to Fly/Times like these
Panama (Van Halen)
La Grange (work in progress!)
Jessica/Sweet Home Alabama

Working on more. Stuff like Blind Man by Black Stone Cherry and the odd bit of Zakk Wylde in his Ozzy/Pride and Glory days.

If you have a set list and somewhere to jam/practice and are interested, let me know.
