The Fix - Self-review and Video from The Railway, Bromley Cross last night

it were alright

The gig was good.. not hugely jam packed, but the people who were there seemed to enjoy it… I like to look for the little signs that people are getting into it, like surreptitiously tapping their hands or feet, or doing tiny 'low slung air bass' hand movements :) there was plenty of that going on… along with dancing, singing along & a general happy vibe in the place… I have to say I enjoyed the evening a lot - the people were very friendly and receptive to what we were doing

We made 2 new friends, Rick (45's) & Anne, who were absolutely brilliant, stopped all night from start to finish, and turned the evening from being just another gig into a real funny and memorable night - thank you VERY much for coming, and for being game to post the slagging-off review :D

Afterwards we went to Marigolds and caught a bit of Idle Promise and sunk a few ales… a top way to end a top evening

Anyway, here's a video of some bits of it...

yeah i think its fair to say that as a band we thoroughly enjoyed this one. it was just one of them nights where it was an absolute pleasure to be stood up there with mi two best mates, banging a few tunes out to a really appreciative (although not huge) audience and just having a laugh. definately one of our mos enjoyable gigs in a while.
