80s hair melodic rock

id love to do this still as well :-)

im gonna put this out there again cos weve got the cream of rock talent on here

i would really love to form a fun side project 80s/early 90's hair rock/melodic rock band, playing stuff by melodic and hair rock bands, i could think of some people on here already id like to get this going with :-)

eg

Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Skid Row,Crue,Journey,Def Leppard ,Foreigner,Poison ,Kiss,Thunder,Scorpions,Van Halen,Dio,Dokken,Mr Big,Europe,Winger,DLR,Skin,Extreme,Cinderella,GNR,Tyketto,White lion,Aerosmith etc etc with some other amazing musos, im talking unashamed posing, amazing playing ,huge amounts of fun,and catchy anthems(but not taking ourselves seriously in the slightest (only the music)

cos they were good times funny but cool as shown here

NOTE************************************** this is purely a little side project idea only and would just wanna play a gig say once every 2 months for fun but to take the music seriously and smile and rock and pose it up!!**************************************

serious replies and really kick ass ego free musos preferred :-)

yep the singer would be the huge thing, but i can wait as long as it needs, its an acorn ready to grow , i'm hoping a nice NWB supergroup spin off, but just a fun occasional thing(but good with it)

Sounds like fun, wish my guitar chops were up to the job!

I know a very, VERY talented young player round these parts. Proper shredder with a proper 80s look and high quality gear. You'll have to let me know if you need any more guitarists (for 80s cheese,more=good).

Whatever happens you're going to sound better than this!

Hi there! I am new to this site. Been doing a solo project for a while doing popular rock stuff. I play bass and have a decent pair of lungs on me!! My last band project was singer and bassist doing the kind of stuff you guys are looking to do. Depends if you fancy a girlie in your band!! Im not the squeaky type voice. Used to do Heart, Lita Ford, Femme Fatale, Vixen, Blondie as well as Bon Jovi AC/DC Whitesnake, Guns n Roses, Poison etc etc. Looking for a side project to run along solo stuff. See where it goes! Oh yeah and I do have BIG HAIR!!!!

If you wnted a 2nd guitarist I'd be happy to look ridiculous in spandex (again!) occasionally! Looking at the whole Steel Panther thing i think theres a local demand for this sort of gig! (plus i can use my whammy bar again!!!)
