Have heard a rumour that AC/DC, Metallica, The scorps and potentially Van Halen will be doing donnington this year ..... unconfirmed but wouldn't that be rather a treat?

Last time I saw them they were supporting Priest in Manchester, they were awsome.

I can remember seeing The Scorpions at Accrington Town Hall many years ago. The first tour of the U.K. Got a flyer outside King Georges Hall Blackburn, after a Judas Priest gig. Motorhead played support to the Scorpions but turned up late and went on after Scorpions had finished. Happy days

Only ever saw them the once and that was at Knebworth in '85 as support to Deep Purple and my main memory of the event was how wet I got due to the appalling weather!
And trying to find Nigel's ( Idle Promise) car afterwards!
