Good acoustic venues wanted for our acoustic music shows

COLD FLAME ACOUSTIC 2010

Whilst Cold Flame have always played quality rock and blues music, during the last five years, several members of the band have also been involved in performing acoustic based folk rock and blues music which has also proved to be popular with punters. This has enabled the band to diversify and in so doing the chaps have played regular folk festivals and real ale events in the north of England. With the current economic situation affecting live music generally, Cold Flame do at least offer a further string to their bow. This blog is intended therefore to promote the band's acoustic music and we hope that this will generate some interest in the north west area in particular.

Cold Flame's acclaimed acoustic show is a lively mixture of English and celtic acoustic and electric folk rock music. Violins, mandolins, guitars and vocals merge together in a heady cocktail that ranges from gentle ballads to rowdy foot stomping jigs and reels.Whilst original music is to the fore influences and music ranging from Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention to Bob Dylan,John Martyn,Paul Weller,The Beatles and Del Amitri also feature in the lighter side of Cold Flame. The band plays extensively throughout the High Peak and North west of England appearing regularly on local radio stations and headlining regional beer and folk festivals.Cold Flame have also supported many major music acts in England and more recently in Europe where they have performed at both indoor and outdoor festivals.
