@lgit-lol! is why i don't play my cd's in the car, but listen to "classic fm" instead-i'd end up dead, beaten up or arrested!! and-it is true, methinks, there is a co-relationship between punk(old school?) and metal?

Yes there is.
I put my Saxon cd on and drive like a nutter.....
Motorhead were a classic example of a Metal/Punk co-relationship.
I Like your 'old school' tag....I'm currently campaigning for the tag 'classic' Punk to be added to the list but would accept 'old school'.....hhhmmm, maybe tomorrow.....

@lgit-is how(iffen i'm "backed into a corner" to label myself, musically speaking) i describe my main musical taste as "old school metal"-has a kind of "gravitas", methinks?-don't like name "classic rock"-covers far too wide a range of styles for me these days (don't get me started!!)-iffen i am writing (or talking) about what i've heard i use the term "rock classics"-still a bit broad in range,but covers it far better. ;-)
