favourite Queen songs, from probably all of them Somebody To Love Bohemian Rhapsody Hammer To Fall These Are The Days Of Our Lives The Show Must Go On only 1 rule, if you don't like them, don't bother posting a reply !!
I thought the soundtrack to the film 'Highlander' was awesome..... Queen were unique.....at times even brilliant.
my personal fav...March of the Black Queen
Now I'm Here
dont stop me now and days of our lives both are goosebump raisers for me!
Don't Stop Me Now the vocal on that is fantastic - absolutely perfect and the weird thing is, for a rock band there's very little guitar on that song... there's some fills and the solo, but the main rhythm track is piano, bass & drums
Save Me is my personal favorite. Who wants to live Forever close second. Fat Bottom Girls up there too.
Good shout, Catdog, Save Me is awesome and not heard often enough on the old wireless.
@ steve - i have to say i thought the McFly boys did a grand job covering that tune...Queen are the type of act you should leave alone unless you know you can pull it off (no puns please!)..it could easily have gone so very wrong but i thought they did it justice x
havent heard it, but the missus got McFly's album free with a sunday paper a while ago, so we put it on in the car going up to Pen-y-ghent once... and it was alright... there was a real Green Day feel to it, and it felt a bit derivative, but it was pleasant enough
The album Sheer heart attack was a fave of mine sooooo... Brighton Rock Lap of the Gods Tenement Funster I like all the others Hammer to fall, Bohemian fingy, We are Man U an all that.. Also Death on two legs Bicycle race (?) Play the Game (think I'm a billy no mates on this one)
Same as you Rob plus We Will Rock You. We went to see the show in London bloody fantastic.
Keep yourself alive - bought this on a 45, Still got it, mint condition ! Your my best friend Fat bottom girls Now I'm here
I remember being blown away by "Seven Seas of Rhye" when I first heard it in my teens and it still gives me goose bumps.
'Somebody to love' ....... freddies vocal delivery is just the dogs bollox ! Tell the King of Rhye he's lost his throne indeed ! ;O)
i really should have put dont stop me know in my choices.and who wants to live forever.
