Believe it or not we haven't ever played this place before?
been trying to get on there for 3 yrs and now at last someone has given us a recommend and were in!
nice when that happens innit!
So if it was you," Wes" [Hardwired] muchengladtar dude!
well known as a good gig were looking forward to this one and will have Tom Head back on the Tubs to christen it!

Unless they've removed it in the last 18 months or so. Everything gets miced up, Bass DI'd etc. etc. Just don't piss around with your settings after the sound check though.....

Just checked on the web-site and didn't know Andy was gone. He must have taken the PA with him.....He used to do all the sound there.

Yeh, Andy left in the New Year, and took the PA out the other week. It's a simple enough set up though with your own gear..nice stage too! If you'd been playing on the Friday, I would have come along, but we are in Liverpool on the Saturday...so I can't.

@ Piggery Bandana: That's strange cuz I thought it was a great night! Dunno what's happened there then!?

Andy has left (and looking for another venue in area) so Joanne his ex is looking after the bookings..but Bill appears to be still there doing the web-site ...we on feb 27th so let us know how it goes G .....no PA ;-(

Please dont be disheartened by Jo cancelling your gigs. Unfortunatly your set didnt go down with the regulars to well.

MUSICALLY YOU WERE GREAT!!!! but people tend to love the stuff thats played week in week out and The Griffin is such a big pub it needs to be full on a Sat to keep the place afloat.

Again i Repeat Piggery Bandana were GREAT get them booked!!! Every venue has a differant following!!
