Are you looking for a Recording and Replay medium Kev? Or just a player?

Im just looking at options at the mo Stuart. I fancy maybe one of each Mini Disc and DAT machine built into the rack. I believe the DAT gives a better recording quality but Im not too familiar with the players as in how easy is it to select tracks in a live situation etc. I would be looking at tranfering the tracks into either medium off the PC after adapting MiDi files.
The Mini Disc player is great if you want to stop/start with a footswitch and its easy to swap the tracks around but is the DAT player as flexible?
