Looking For Venues

Hi Everone ,
This is my first post , so please be kind to me !!

I look after a young classic rock band Innuendo from Tarleton , which is just between Preston and Southport . The lads are all aged 16 , or thereabouts .
I have to say , theyre a talented bunch , and now have 6 excellent tunes of their own plus a range of classic rock covers to call on .
The problem we have , is finding venues to play at . Most of the pubs around our way have a strict over 18s policy , just the odd one let us in .
Weve managed to get a support slot at the Moses Gate , Bolton - supporting one of the countrys top GnR tribute bands GUNS 4 HIRE , so thats good news .
Just wondered if any kindly soul out there could recomend a venue or two that might be worth pestering for a slot .
If anyone wants to have a listen to the lads , please visit www.myspace.com/ukinnuendo .

Thanks for looking , Colin .

Hi there :)
This is a little bio on Operation Cobra.
We formed our band between me and my little brother about 18 months ago and over time recruited 2 new members.
Our covers includes music by artists like Nickelback, Greenday, Foo Fighters and odd little bands aswell.
In addition we write our own music, and are currently in the proces of writing our first album. Our style is hard rock and we play together a few times a week at my dads house where we practise in a ridiculously small room, but we appreciate the fact that we can practise and dont complain.
We have been to an excellent recording studio to record a 4 song demo which can be found and downloaded on our website... http://www.jasonwall.co.uk/cobra/index.html . We are also on facebook and myspace at www.myspace.com/operationcobra123 .

Brandon Carson is aged 12 and plays as our lead guitarist, and split vocalist. He has been playing the guitar for almost 5 years and plays by ear. He follows no graded music and cannot read music. Occasionally has guitar lessons at school, but he is extremely capable of being inpdependant and always making new music. Brandon is very energetic on stage. Always practising, he is a fluent guitarist, a singer, and also a drummer and bassist.
I (Sam C) am our band\'s drummer, and i have been playing for 2 years. I am 16 years old on 1st of February. I\'m going for my grade 5 in drums this summer and i can read music. However, every drum part i do in our band comes from listening to it. In some cases i have help from my drum teacher but i learn 95% of our covers on my own. Some of our songs are written by me and i practise alone at school a few times a week.
Josh Owens Tomlinson, age 16 plays our rhythm Guitar and split vocals too. He has been playing just over a year and works in a music store too. Josh writes the majority of our song and is writing our album currently.
And Callum Wall finally is our bassist. He has played also for just over a year and is also 16. He doesnt follow graded music, but learns through tabs, or rehearses with brandon. He plays very well considering his time, just like josh and they both play extremely well as part of OC.

Just to avoid confusion the above is the BAND 'Innuendo' whereas I am the bass player 'Innuendo' however we are both from Tarleton ! These lads are really good and you will agree if you listen to their stuff. Not just good for their age either!
