who's done this one?
Were at The Rockhouse this weekend but not done it before! Anyone know what the score is there? Is there lighting,PA,Stage,Power points etc.
no Pa but some lighting effects. Stage 'area' is errr compact. I played there with Guns 2 Roses a couple of weeks ago...a 6 piece setup....and there was nowhere to set my gear up, I had to go DI only. Landlord is great, customers also a great bunch that rocked all night. apart from the compact playing area (which will obviously be less of a problem for 3 n 4 piece setups) this is a great venue....loved it.
The LL Gary sounds a decent fella, spoke to him on the blower yesterday but never met him. Think we'll be on there later in the year.
Depped for Riff Raff there recently, it was packed. V. resposive crowd, no stage but a playing area in the middle of the pub and being a building of certain age there are big support pillars that are a little awkward for placing the P.A. cabs. House disco is an enourmous E.V. rig. All said you will have a good gigage..
The lighting is ok,but would be much improved with the use of a kam par bar !! !
I was hoping to try out the Parbar at this one? Will take it anyway and see what happens! If it's alright I'll let you borrow it Nic! haha!
Think I'll buy the Parbar? Are you selling yours Nic????????? You dont seem to use it much se'in as It lives at my house these days!
Ha ha yeah your right G, will get some use soon gigs start next month,Will be good at the rock, called in sat to see a bit of, one in ten, enough room for bar par, house are errr ok ish but the kam would be great bit of sound to light!!, tis tight but it`1l go, may bob in only 10 mins up road, those on e bay made daft money wouldnt pay that much. cheers nick
OK I'll get one elseware! may be using 2 of em at the Rock? yours is the one with the short lead! ha ha!
Yeah and my landrover is the one with the mesa boogie stack in it !!!!
PS Is your the Mk1 or Mk2??
Ha ha! yeh but you wouldn't want want to have take it out! I've got balls as the size Millennium dome since I got that rig!
Mk 1, the twos were a bit more expensive supposed to be a bit brighter, but with a few pints of fosters over them cant see it would make much difference, like rockin horse to get 2nd hand spose it says summat !!
I'm gonna get the Mk2 so we'll be able to compare them side by side!
Ha ha yeah good idea though, someone on e bay does B stock and they are a bit cheaper, long as guarantee ok, check colin at warrington sound he doeas a really good deal for NWB members, charges another 20%! ha only joking.
