Welcome to North West Bands. I see from your myspace page you are a new venture. Do you have a webpage or any credentials to offer before the bands start giving out commercial information?

Hi there I,m Geoff another member of SpartaUKevents team, I,m also chairman and "band booker" of MT Heads MCC in Rochdale. Between ourselves, Rising Moon MCC and Bridge Rats MCC we book in excess of 30 bands per year for our events which take place in Cheshire, Rossendale, West Yorks and Greater Manchester
At the moment Sparta seem to have found a niche in the market for Ska/Mod music but we are by no way restricted to this genre. As Paul says we have been using the Ukrainian club in Rochdale for our events, but we seem to have outgrown this and are actively looking for larger venues.
We are constantly being asked by other MCCs for details of bands and/or recommendations , would it be a good idea to set up a database on here giving basic details of bands eg; genre, location, own pa, minimum cost ?

Fellow Spartans (see what I did there)...

We'd be interested in the events you're putting on in 2011 - we're a Classic Punk Tribute Band (check out our profile). Please PM me with further details.

Cheers,
Dean
