60 or 100 watt, head or combo, not fussed.

I am still searching for the elusive Perfect Tone and so the quest for the Holy Grail starts again.

I am currently watching EBay and Gumtree but if anyone knows anyone etc. etc.

Never had the chance I'm afraid, nor the cash! You got one?

I've got a JCM600 which I've modded to sound less like a fuzz box. That's a 2 channel but the difference in gain between the channels makes it difficult to use. You set one up right and the other then sucks.

I had a JCM800 2205. It hummed like no ones business. I believe the early ones are better.

I sold that and got an Orange Tiny Terror. Wow! Phenomenal for the size and very loud for 15 watts but it is only a single channel.

I got a Line6 SpiderIII non-valve. Brill for rehearsals, tedious live. I've given up trying to program it.

I used to have a TSL601 12" combo. Shouldn't have let it go but it helped finance another Les Paul so it was worth it at the time. I used a 2x12 version through a 4x12 Marshall cab once at the Glass Barrel on a Charity gig. It belonged to the guitarist from Big W or Vera Cruz, can't remember which. That was as near as I ever got.
I just feel the need to try one again.

Cheers
