bonkers covers you think it'd be fun to do

I was thinking today how cool it would be to be in a covers band that played rockin versions of songs you don't expect - with the only criteria being if it's a good tune, or a good laugh, it's in...

so based on that... what would YOU have in the set? Mine would be:

Cheeky Girls - The Cheeky Song

Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again
Joe Dolce - Shaddupa You Face
Patrick McNee & Honor Blackman - Kinky Boots

Stravinsky's Rite of Spring with the opening bassoon part played on bass guitar

have a look at a band called "me first and the gimmie gimmies" well documented on youtube containing lots of guest rockstars covering the daftest of songs, they have at least 4 albums of them, some are brilliant

skin used to do the odd unusual cover - their version of ma nah ma nah by the muppets is AWESOME, also they do a killer version of madonnas express yourself.

Agreed, very annoying.
