I think its gonna be our last
well we tried our 1st practice in the pub, when we got there the landlord had gone out and the bar staff was`nt sure where we could set up, so she had to phone the landlord, as it turns out football was on, so we had to practice right next to the roaring and I do mean roaring log fire, the pub far from being empty had about 40 punters in, so we set up, no free sockets they are all being used except for one, plugs the jack into my guitar, the bloody nuts missing off the bloody socket is`nt it, its nowhere to be found (I must have lost at our last saturday gig), so I went home to get my other guitar I got stuck behind a learner, then road works so by the time I got back that was half an hour gone, to be fair most of the punters seemed to really enjoy it, they thought it was a gig not a practice, and some are coming to watch us at the tardy gate pub on saturday, to sum up not a bad idea really to practice in a pub (at least for us anyway) , but I think we will go with another option of another club which is a £10 a week next time.
