experience says (and it's,usually, correct) that the best way to deal with trolls and such is to ignore them-they soon lose steam-or go off on a complete tangent to the subject matter-confuses the hell out them (no sense of humour)!!
rising to the wind up up only gives them the satisfaction of a response-leaves them in charge. ;-D

I wasn't aware that we'd had any trolls or daleks on the site recently, but then I've not been as committed to the site as usual. Still, I do agree that we've not had a Teenage Kicks blog for a while. I miss them. And reviews of/by The Fix. And gig promo blogs. In fact this whole site is rapidly going downhill :o)

LGIT mark this down I agree with you on this one. I dont see the point of trolling surely Paul can see if the IP address are the same then theres your man. Even if you use another computer the router in the home will be the default gateway IP address (ace). End of. I might be a cock at times but dont hide behind another profile. LGIT - CLASSIC!!!

The case is now solved...check out the other blog.

After checking the DNA it was a streight forward case. Not so easy to do in Burnley (apparently everyones DNA is the same) but in this case it was easy.

Also, it's easy to say "it was hardly an x-file was it" when you know the answer.....(tut).

@Bad Horsie - You don't even need to use an IP mask, just reboot your modem! Most ADSL lines are floating IP. It will most likely change everytime you reboot.
