same here, there used to be a fantastic Gay venue in Hayward called the Criterian I wonder if its still there ! have a good gig ! be careful carrieng your gear down the alley !

absolutely, dude!! idiots are the people who make the world fun-"normals" are the ones who have f*cked it up BIGTIME!!! as for being "homophobic"-don't think so, bro-anyone who prints a copy that says "has it's own alley round the rear" is certain to be in for for some innuendo and ribaldry-would have said the same had it been a lap dancing club or strip joint populated exclusively by heterosexual men and women. i, also, happen to know that area of bury very well-the venue is excellent-the surrounding area can be extremely - errmm - dodgy? - at the best of times. hence the comment. i say again - no offence meant-there's a muso on here who i happen to know, and am a friend of, who IS gay-iffen a line had been crossed that person would have been the first to let me know-with resultant full and unconditional apology from me. hope that clarifies matters for you. :-)

one observation-iffen you really do feel that comments on any of your blogs are out of order, as the blog owner you have the facility to delete them, without explanation.

Chill out mate, I wasn't being homophobic. I live in Bury and the Shuttle was always known as a gay bar. I merely asked if it had changed now?

We are playing at a gay bar on Sunday. "Guys as Dolls Showbar" in Burnley. It's gonna be a cracker.
