Serious !

After years and years of playing the same old shite week in week out ,i am sorry but i cant hold out any longer and i have got to be true to myselrf and to my heart ,

I have kept his to myself now for far to long ,in fact years of pent up emotions , but not any longer !

I am after like minded muso's to help me form a new trib band that will blow the socks off the North west circuit .hell maybe the whole UK or even the world !
Yep thats how serious i am so dont laugh

I WANT TO FORM A ABBA TRIBUTE BAND !

Like i said , thought about it for years now , but the crunch came after watching Mamma Mia with Kathy on Sunday after a hard gig the night before

every time i ear their songs all i want to do is twirl around and dance !

I meen Fuck me ,who can honstly say the havent made you happy over the years even if was only for the gorgeos eye candy !.

Im handsome ! talented , i can dance ,Got a PA and lights, what more do you need ?
So cme on , who s with me

PS,Just imagine a rocked up version of say Waterloo or SoS, fuckin superb fodder !

You have my attention as well as the venue for the band launch. And if your serious about the Mac trib as well I will give you a 800 seat venue in Fleetwood to play at!

Trig, we've been playing Waterloo in a rock stylee for about 4 years now. Every time we think of doing another one, we find it already done on the Black Sweden album. lol!

I've often thought of starting a Karen Carpenter/ Maxi Preist covers band called the Caramax. ;o)

I've never bought an ABBA record in my life but when I hear one of their songs I seem to know all the words...I think my ex-mother-in-law played them all day and they stuck.
Point is, it's still popular music and you can make a good living out of playing it....
When I come out of the closset I'm gonna do it too.....The grannies and queers will love it.

There's probably more mileage in F/Mac than Abba, as there are plenty of Abba tributes already doing the rounds with backing tapes that will always undercut a band as their overheads are so much lower. Good idea though.
