Keyboard Advice Needed

I want to learn the keyboard again but not sure what to buy...

I learnt the keyboard when I was a kid. Had a great Casio keyboard that cost about £300 at the time (20 years ago) but havent done anything like that for years.

My house mate has a guitar and started jamming in the house a bit and its got me wanting to get a keyboard again as I enjoyed playing it before.

I will have about £100 to spend next week so can you guys recommend a make and model of keyboard to try out and use for a while?

The money will be in paypal and cant be paid into my bank (not got card sorted) so im gonna have to buy off fleabay or something like that!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mucka Jay.

do you own a laptop m8??? if yes.. just buy a control keyboard ( no on board sounds -so cheap) & a breakout soundcard for lappy..bout 40 quid..then find a friend who owns propellerheads Reason..
You then have access to LOADS of Sounds n Synths...

Cheap casio stuff sounds pants m8.

The soft-synth route is great and there's loads of freeware VSTi synths out there. However if you want hardware, a second-hand Novation K-Station or Xiosynth will do stirling work for you and you can get them for about £100 there or there abouts.
