Need contact number - Published Land Line number not recognised?

Does anyone have the number for The Duke of Wellington in Great Harwood. The advertised telephone number is not working. It's not that local so can't just pop round. Need to contact Mick.

Cheers
Dave

That's pretty damned local to us (used to rehearse there!)

The phone number is 01254 885979, and there's an email address:
dukeofwellington1664@yahoo.co.uk

It's not open mondays at the moment, and Mick ain't there any more (long story, dont ask!!), but his wife (I think it's his wife) is running it now

They are still having bands on cos I saw someone unloading their gear last week.

we played there couple of weeks ago...don't think its his wife (can't remember who she said she was)...she hadn't put posters up and there was nothing on blackboard outside...in fact when we got out of van, I remember saying we'd better check we were still on first before we unloaded anything.
I got the impression landlady wasn't too bothered about bands...could be wrong though...in fact they stopped serving as soon as we'd finished and didn't put that disco on like they used to

I've just been in. There land line has been disconnected, and no mobile number.

They have you in their diary and want to confirm with you - and have asked for your number (there is a phone box right outside the pub!!)

If you pm it me i'll drop it into the pub.

I've left your details with a rather attractive barmaid! Not the same one I spoke to last night, and she said she'd pass details on to landlady.

I don't think i'm speaking out of turn when I say i'll be very surprised if you get a call. Just a feeling is all - nothing was said.

Thanks for Trying Mick. It'll be a shame if they've lost interest in bands as per Night train's post. It was not a bad place to play.

We'll wait n see.
