Yeah i agree, i think they should be changed on a monthly basis if ....it's not too much work/hassle for Paul. Everyone gets a chance to go up then. But yeah Alec.....that pic definitley needs to go up, CRP hogger of the week!! lol

its no trouble at all to change images on websites, as long as the image is the correct size, its just a straight swap. takes seconds.

I would be honoured if it was LAST GANG IN TOWN.

No we don't. It was the choice of others that we were put there.

LGIT Eh? WTF? - Nothing to do with us as to why we are are on the home page. I believe Mr NWB is looking to have a rotating view of all the bands who have submitted pictures on the front page as part of the upgrade to NWB 2.0 so Im sure you will up there.

I think a random covers band, venue and originals band should be featured. Perhaps it'd be a good incentive to cough up, which is something I plan to do once I get a bank statement which doesn't end in -£900!

I think this site's best ever 'live' rock video should be reinstated, but programmed to come on as soon as the site opens, rather than having to click on it.
Reason?
1) Its a band that doesn't actually exist in that form anymore
2) It features members of 3 bands ie NT,HOTD and whatever band the drummers in now..
3) Its at a known venue
4) Its colourful and in focus
5) Also features a Buskers Ball element ie me
6)It rocks
All them posed picture look a bit out dated now...whatever or whoever they should certainly be 'live' pics.
Probably doesn't matter anyway, cos new site is due soon

PS About 12 months or more ago, we were invited to send band pictures to some company for some advertising campaign...anybody remember? Anybody get any feedback?

I think we're in an open market and the bands that offers the most money get the front page slots. It's the only fair way and it's also raising funds for the NWB coffers.

It would be PC to have Jah Mission Vibes on. A bit of multiculturalism and all that. And we do originals as well as covers.

I would put a picture montage of all the bands names then it doesnt get messy with the picture BS . Plus WHATEVER WOULD BE THE PIN UP BOYS OF NWB ANYWAY.

@hulkamania-actually, hm, that ain't a bad idea-everyone gets a shot? not sure about whatever being the "pin up" boys" though-are you sure sumo costumes wouldn't frighten the natives?? ;-D

It really is pathetic to watch you all trying to gain favour just to get a picture on the home page.
We've even got bands throwing in the 'race' card now.....
I say Leave it as it is....as a tribute to The Fix.....for now at least.....
