The Great Band Name Debate

There's been much debate on NWB about bands having the same name, and thus causing confusion with fans.

So, I beg the question, what would be a great name for a band?

Your suggestions are most welcomed :-)

I'll start the ball rolling with a band called "FREE BEER"

"Free Beer at The Talbot, Burnley"

For a band with too many fans and fancy a quiet gig for a change, why not go under the name of "Nothing"

For me there is always going to be 3 band names that stand out.

The first two were actual real bands in Glasgow, one of which actually got played on the Friday Rock on Radio Clyde.

They were "Minj" and "Bum Gravy"

LOL

for me though, I always wanted to call a band "Free Beer"
Would never play to an empty venue ever again lol

In the early 80's I sang in a band called Blue Movie.

The venues regualarly got phonecalls asking if they were showing 'the genuine article'

Rather than having the band's name in the usual huge letters on the posters, I have been toying with the idea of forming another band, with all the posters having the band's name in the smallest font possible, just before the point of blurring....That new band shall be called..........................................................
...wait for it...

"Bummin' Makes U Squint"

I was in a band called Freestealer (Free/Bad Co tribute).
At one venue we played some of the punters misread the posters as Freestella!
