Great Punk gig in Northwich last night.....cheers to all.....

Thanks to a number of NWB members for turning up too........

Traditionally a Rock/biker bar but the 'Classic' Punk goes down a storm..... well LGIT do anyway...... Landlord John said it was the busiest it's been for months and paid us a bonus......more dates in the diary too.....one of our favourite venues.
I've got to admit, it was one of our better performances, we clicked from the start and were tight all through. The in-house PA is a blessing and the sound engineer, although he looked strange, did a good job.....
Great to see a few NWB members supporting us and really nice to meet new people.
Thanks to Brian and Jimmy from Sticky Fingers.
Aiden from 'Whatever' and Mr Love-rocket.....Really nice people.....
The Social Tomato wasn't allowed out by his missus.....I believe.....
A good night all round.....we even got booked for a Biker festival (Thundersprint) in the summer.....
Who says you can't do 'Classic' Punk in a 'Rock' Bar.....
You can if it's done right.....

Beat me to it.
I was going to do a review of the gig even though i aint good at them ;0).

As above really, spoke with Gary and told him i am no Punk fan
but these guys know there stuff believe me.
They converted me as soon as they started playing. Loverockets who was with me knew most of the tunes and had them on in the car on the way to set the mood..lol.

The sound was excellent you could hear everything in the mix and as stated these boys are tight and the pub was rocking young and old.

All in all a great gig and if like me you think your not into to punk
get down and watch these guys you wont be dissapointed.

Gutted I missed this Last Gimp In Town gig. Had a "spot of bother" to see to, but I will catch these guys soon. If Aiden says it was good, it must have been good.

ooops....seems I forgot our truce and accidentally called 'ST' SocialTomato (he really doesn't like it you know...aaahhhh) as he's carried out his threat to call LGIT childish and disrespectful names .....
Was gonna delete it but I'll leave it on so you can all see how naughty the Social Turnip is.....
Off to see Whatever tonight, could be interesting.....I hope they do Teenage Kicks.....

Teenage Kicks. Ever Fallen in Love and Pretty Vacant thats where my and most of the bands punk vocab ends. Gotta say Gary spoke to Aid and I did say to Social the other dat dont think those You Tube Videos will do you justice. Aid said you were tight and a top drummer. ST will step upto the plate ....

Thats not nice mate, !!! You can tell him him that tonight, I was trying to be polite there. Your the bass player I know, I mean you have a good drummer end of from what Aid said.

ST there is not bitchfest I am being civil to a WHATEVER fan , And defending your honour !!!The reply about buffet wasnt how LGIT meant it. I thought it was a slagging of the drumming experience!!. I was wrong for once.
