The Trio Live This Weekend in Burnley, Blackpool and Nelson BLOGS TO FOLLOW

So... been a while since I blogged as in all honesty I lost faith in NWB. If you know me you will know I am very upfront, tell it how it is and above all else honest. However I have felt the need to come back and use North West Bands to promote a night which will benefit you!!! Many of us on here are gigging week in week out without fail, I personally think that the more jams we have about the more opportunity for the aspiring musician to get out and play, give them the confidence to get out and be seen, potentially form a band and get a gig. Above all else it keeps music live and could potentially bring a lot of us together in the same room build friendships and have a good fuckin’ jam. Prove me wrong about NWB and reinstate some faith back into it for me by backing this project.

Anyway...

... Right I have managed to fire up a new jam night for you all over at The Royal Hotel in Great Harwood.... The Royal has fast become one of my favourite venues to play and has on more than one occasion been a get away for me and the missus... It's just a mega place, no two ways about it.

So as of this Wednesday I along with a handful of choice musicians I will be running the jam... All gear is going to be laid on.... So come down and enjoy it.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the previous jam that was run at the royal but it attracted some serious players last time around... I can give you personal guarentee that I am going into this jam all guns blazing and between the three of us housing it, we will make it the best jam around in one of the best venues around.... So lets all get involved eh?

Dean Casement aka. The D Man/Deani Baby/Dean The Sex Machine/plus whatever your own personal nicknames for me may be.

Much love x

I shall be there....really looking forward to it....and the debut of my new (albeit bought a year ago, put in the spare bedroom and then forgot I owned it for 12 months) Premier Artist kit.

I've jammed with Dean before and you can guarantee that he will kick things off with unrivalled enthusiasm and be on hand if anyone is short of a guitarist or vocals. What he won't do is monopolise the evening as he likes to have his union fag breaks out on the pavement every so often and loves chatting music and "women entrapment techniques" just as much as he loves playing.

The house band is guitar/drums/bass. All good quality gear. Come and have a shufty. If things go to plan, we will get things started and then float in and out as and if/when required.

.....And its a real ale pub with sasparilla and all that weird stuff
