as much as i love the beatles, the white album has gotta get a mention on here for being the worst.

how can an album that has 'blackbird' and 'while my guitar...' which are excellent - also include '...bungalow bill' and 'rocky racoon'

+1 for Rubber Soul. The only one I like to be honest. I think the Beatles were/are overrated.

It's a close one for me, either Revolver or Rubber Soul. Both are incredible albums. Though I think Tomorrow Never Knows on Revolver might tip the balance in it's favour. Conclusive proof Ringo is a genius after all.

In my Life is a top tune but I like a spread across different Albums Dig A Pony, I saw her standing there, Eleanor Rigby.
Very much into the blues riff stuff at the mo.

But there are some absolute shit songs as well - For every I am the Walrus there is dodgy ones like Norwegian Wood.

It shows how good they were as they could do songs in about 5 different genres of music and not seem out of place.

Class act . Boy band NO - CLASS - YES

Side 2 of Abbey Road. This album had the best production of all the Beatles' albums and the music they created in the last days was amazing given the bad feeling between them by this stage.

I still can't get my head around how good the Beatles were. It's mind-blowing.

Film One - you're spot on about TNK.

Don't think i've ever owned a Beatles album! I love individual songs, but couldn't tell you what album they came from.

Probably quite predictable, but these are my faves: Twist and Shout, I saw her standing there, Love me do, I wanna hold your hand, We can work it out...

Strange one this for me ... I should have been bought up with all the Beatles stuff, being born in 19fecketyfeck, but my first real music of choice was Creedence. The Beales just completely passed me by, no mean feat as I was dragged up in Liverpool.
So, like Mick above, I don't view the Beatles canon in album packages, just individual songs.

Some of which are crap </opinion>

simples all of em, seen beatles, paul mcartney & wings & george harrison with the krishna mob all live, and seen john lennon in his famous psychedellic rolls royce, got all their albums, got all their dvds, got all their fan club christmas records and got an autographed photo too, I used to have one of the 1st copies of let it be with the now unpolitically correct book with the original words to get back on it which could`nt be repeated nowadays, sold the book for £400 years back and the guy came all the way from london to buy it, he would`nt trust the postal system with it, to pick one album as my favorite its gotta be sgt pepper, this album changed so many things in music at the time.
