Another Friday night in...

....listening to music, and I got to wondering

What are you lot all listening to when you're not playing?

What are your favourite NEW albums (I know we all have sooo many old classic - and not so classic - favourites (I'm a big fan of Eels!)), by which I mean new releases or by new bands.

I'm not so sold on the new3 Lynyrd Skynyrd (Gods and Guns) although I am a big fan.

I would have said my favourite new band AND album was Them Crooked Vultures, BUT have you heard

Alice In Chains latest offering, Blue gives Way to Black.

Oh My God.

Always did like these guys, but this is the best they have EVER done!

IMHO anyway.

So what's floating your boats? What's grabbing you by the goolies? What's making your day (punk)?

Mr Fist .. baklck gives way to blue isn't .. bt it reminds me of KennyWayne Shepherdd who does blues a la SRV .. very good album for me .. vcan't remember the name of the tracj but its got black/blue going on ....... enjoy your sounds - a I always put my m03 on timed shurdown every night and fall asleep to assorted sounds - omnl;y thing is you have a sore ear in the morning hwre it digs in.
