Terry Reid - the great 'lost' talent of British rock. Page offered him the job of LZ front man but he turned it down cos he had a deal with Mickie Most!! Great, effortlessly funky singer and guitarist, mouth watering how things might have been (and that's some spliff):



Page also tried to get it going with Steve Marriott but his manager Don Arden (Sharon Osborne's dad) threatened to physically end Marriott's career. For me, the greatest Brit singer of all:

Alison Krauss ..... if you're into Bluegrass, is fuckin awesome .. but.. she's a miserable little bitch!! ... but I love her!

Terry Reid .. I knew nothing about him until ... well fuck me I don't remember when - someone introduced me to Terry Reid Alive! ... fuck me .. I Can't Stand The Rain (one of my fave songs of all time) and One Night With You (Elvis?) ... su - fucking - perb!!
