Brief summary and a quick thank you.
Last night was a belter!!! Good few players, good few people in!!! For those of you there you'll know what I mean about little 12 year old Joe.... This is a boy called Joe, who is 12, who plays the drums and I shit you not people of NWB this little lad blew me away... He is one of our drummer Martins students, he is absolutly astounding, such confidence, drive and passion for playing at such a young age... the lads a star in my book.
Last night was week two and already the words getting around its filling up, people are messaging me both on here, via facebook and myspace asking what the crack is... It's simple come and enjoy it, it is there for your benefit...!!! What I am looking to do and hope it comes across is take all the best bits from all the other jam night ive been to a plough them into this... It seems to be working, we're making friends, creating an environment in which people dont feel intimidated by mr 6 finger tapper steve vai over there kinda thing... I just want to let you all know that I dont care about how good you are, how experienced, what level your at be it starter or expert... get down and enjoy the music, have a play, meet new people... fuck it use it as a networking meeting I dont care, this is a weekly event for musicians ran by musicians in order to help musicians, its more than just a jam.
Both last night and last week I have met some genuine and interesting people, thank you for your support so far and look forward to seeing you all again next week.
Much love
