how did Jason Manford not get a smack in the mouth on live tv ?????

Just watching Json Manfords new comedy show on tv..Hes having a bit of banter with Scouting For Girls and asks ..ok..have you guys ever had a romantic moment ,turns to the bass player,(who admitedly is no Tom Cruise) and says.."not you obviously"..
ME???''..id've smashed him in the mush live tv or no..lol.
