first time for us here
first of all a big thanks to dave and steph for having us there.
we arrived about 7pm to set up and sound check which went ok, after a bit of changing around, (ill get to that in a min!!)
we started about half 9 and rocked the place with two 45 min sets with a small break inbetween. there wernt many people in to be honest, after the initial look of shock on peoples faces at how loud we were, (steph put ear plugs in), we were recieved very well with claps and cheers after every song. i think its a good venue to play. steph paid us the arranged fee with no problem and thanked us.
just a couple of points, the playing area is quite small with a partition so no matter how you set up someone will be behind it! (unless you a duo!!)
also i rang leo and emaiiled him 2 posters to print off and put up which he was ok with, but when we arrived there wasnt a poster(or a leo) in sight, or anything with any info that we were playing there!
so take the posters down yourself if possible and stick em up! thats what i should have done really.
