last night at the King Eddy

a quiet night, mostly couples to be honest and a bit subdued. Whether we were below par or something else, don't know but the staff were really nice. They didn't mention what went on and we didn't ask as it is none of our business, they asked if we would be putting our comments on here and here it is, nothing dressed up, no bullshit. We have played better and we have had a better sound. May disappoint a few people looking for juicy gossip but nothing to report I'm afraid

10/10 for a self review that doesn't use the word awesome, 10/10 for admitting you could have done better and 10/10 for not saying the crowd were dancing on the tables....how refreshing (seriously)

Nice one guys. I love The Eddy with a passion and it was good to hear thro the grapevine that all went well.
Even tho I was down the road with Jackie at the Old Bank catching some RifRaff style rock, my thoughts were with you guys and hoping you had a good gig. You may have thought you played below your normal high standard, however word got back to me that you were appreciated by all those that attended and gave them a great nights entertainment. Catch up with you soon

We caught the first set, and it seemed fine to me (still prefer real drums though ;-)). It wasn't that quiet in there, though, as the Eddie is a big pub, and does take some filling, but that's a very fair review, perhaps doing yourselves down a bit.
