Belting stuff Rob. I love it when you get bands that surprise you a little by venturing off into heavier territory. I'm thinking here of:

Motley Crue - Smoke The Sky
Def Leppard - Gift of Flesh & Truth

Obviously not as heavy as the stuff you've mentioned but still a pleasant surprise.

I've just picked out symphony of destruction to learn this week as well as burn and war pigs properly, gonna be great fun, wanna finally learn hangar 18 but need to warm up to that Scott ha ha

can't believe you missed off where the slime live by morbid angel ha ha

I need to get the new megadeth album, and any really heavy stuff I may not have heard let me know I need to venture outside the tallica, slayer, megadeth, pantera safe zone and see what else is out there,I've heard of many of the other heavy bands out there but not heard enough of their stuff

some of this stuff is too heavy for me these days! (getting old - i know!)

i used to listen to stuff like slayer, nuklear assault, flotsam and jetsam etc all the time when i was a teen - seem to have mellowed a bit in the intervening years..
