Easter Sunday at the Griffin

What a great place to play!

We rocked the Griffin in Earlestown last night....and they rocked us too!

A fabulous venue.

We arrived quite early, not knowing what to expect as we had never played there before.
Nice big car park out front with easy access for loading/unloading and the good sized raised stage area is easy to get to being next to the front door.
The Griffin have their own quality house PA and light system so no need to take yours. They also have a very competent sound engineer to operate the stuff, and he does a fantastic job....he had our sound spot on within a couple of minutes.
Quite amazed at the response we had to our sound check....the whole pub was applauding and cheering us....we knew it was going to be a good night then.

Joanne, long standing landlady (been there 19 years!!) is a great hostess, allowing us to change upstairs in her private area and offering great hospitallity all night.

The crowd were a little quiet at first but soon got into the swing and joined in with our Axl's antics and were very appreciative and resposive to our show.

The Griffin rates as one of the best places we have gigged at to date....we totally enjoyed the night and are looking forward to playing there again soon.

Thanks to all customers and staff for making it a night to remember.
