# Posted by Delirium - 14/04/2010, 10:14 (GMT)

You asked for it:

Hows your band going guys and gals? Delirium is cooking on gas, playing the right sort of venues for us,

Where are you playing next? Gallopers on Wakefield Road in Bradford

Learning any new songs? ‘Blind Man’ by Black Stone Cherry

Had any good reviews? "By good fortune Delirium had been drafted into the festival and what a great band these lads have proved to be. The genre is heavy rock and we loved every minute of their set, they were superb, and life savers as we asked the band to play an extended set which they did, a full 110 minutes of rock excellence."

What's the venue like? Large open plan pub (out of the city centre), rock audience

What do you keep in your gigbag? Everything! Even allen keys, screw drivers, small pliers etc

Any tips or hints to share? Don’t play any songs that don’t suit your vocalist, keep backline levels sensible, FOH sound is the only thing that matters!

Any gear wanted or for sale ? Maybe looking for a cheap LED PAR can or 2.

Can anyone help my band get a gig? Yep if you wanna play this side of t’Pennines

Where's a good place to play? Lion / Crimea Tavern in Castleford. Proper music audiences, lights, stage, PA all provided. Coniston and Brewery Tap in Idle, Bradford. Broadfield Arms in Sheffield.

Whatever! are doing just great since Hulk78 came back. He may be a dick in the blogs, but in person, he's a great bloke and a solid frontman.

Next gig for us is The Millstone in Darwen on Saturday.

Mr Brightside, Get Back and Rock & Roll Star

Loads of good reviews on NWB. It's always nice to get positive feedback from your peers.

What venue? The Millstone? Yeah, it's alright. Can be hit and miss but always an appreciative crowd.

I don't have one. I have a stick bag which contains, erm sticks, gel pads, tuning keys, drum mic mounts. Inspired by LGIT I am going to put together a new gig bag with gig essentials.

Never settle for second best. Find the right people/personalities and everything will work out.

Nothing for sale but I am after some new hi-hats. Zildjian 14" mastersound. A Custom, Ks, Z3s. All considered.

Yeah, try MBM in Rochdale. As agents go, they're alright tbf

I still think Marigolds is the best gig in the Northwest.

ST (Whatever!)

Hustler/ Tetley

When your name was mentioned to Wrex he turned a very odd shade of purple and stuttered

" Let him have the monitor for £30"

As you know this is most unlike him to part with something so cheap so can I please have copies of the photographic evidence you must have on him

;-)

Give him a bell on
