I was listening to the various clips on the site one night (a bit too loudly I may add), and my girlfriend shouts from the other room, "What the hell are you listening to!!?" PMSL

Massage In A Brothel is one of the all time great pisstakes along with " Paper, everybody needs bog paper" ( sung to the tune of Neighbours )

He supported The Adventurers years ago and they were a great band

NO WAY!! I was at that gig in the Royal court in 1988 John!! The Adventures were a brilliant band.. I still have 'Sea of Love' on my iphone now!

Just couldn't believe when he came out with his Fender Cocksucker guitar and started spraying the crowd.. Never seen so many jaws hit the floor hahahahaha!

I used to love Eddy's adverts on his albums.. The Rentokill style ones..

Always remember one about Fergie's baby and someone had 'poo pooed in the font'.. "I'll scoop that barker from the water and wrap it for Fergies daughter, this and more I'll do for you for only ten pounds sixty two.."

Best lyrics ever

24 hours on toilet (24 hours from Tulsa)

Watch the part at 2:27 when Sandbach (big fat bastard roadie who kept throwing people off stage when they got on) fell into the crowd.. Just hear the crowd cheer.. Priceless!

Shaun.....

It's a bloody small world matey.

Their encore was Instant Karma as I recall. Broken Land is a stunning song and the whole Sea Of Love album is great.

Best wishes

John

ps: Playing Domino at Moses Gate next week ;-)

It is indeed mate! Was a faboulous gig.. Broken Land is a superb song, shame they broke up.. Didn't like the next album as much as Sea of Love though.. Hold me Now, Sound of Summer, Three steps to heaven all belters..

We're playing GlastonFerry next Saturday mate so won't be able to make it, although keep letting me know and yuo can come and pick me up hahahaha!

Eddie Shit....real name....Howard Minns.....
Great warm up act for the Macc Lads but don't ever tell Stez Stix where he lives.....

Indeed he was..

Part of an extremely convoluted family tree, The Macc Lads had two versions of Stez Styx. The BASACAG drummer (real name Steve Hatton) left in 1986 and was replaced by Chorley the Hord. Chorley was replaced by a new version of Stez in 1990 who was in fact Eddie Shit (real name Howard Minns) without the leotard or make up. The original Stez Styx then returned to the fold in 1993 as Johnny Mard on guitar.
