Gus G does a pretty decent job on guitar

But doesn't really stamp his mark on it.

Overall it's a pretty decent effort, certainly better than some of the mince Ozzy has produced over recent years.

Heard it a few times today on PureRock
Here's a clip from CSI NY that features a snippet of the song.

@king fist-it's not BAD? but it's not quite "up there" with some of his earlier stuff, methinks-perhaps he's purely aiming at the commercial audience with the single (sheeple?? ) and saving the best for the album/tour? btw-18 months????? that is one hell of a long tour for someone with ozzie's alleged history!! :-/

mmmmmmmmmmmmm.Ozzy sacked Zakk Wylde to do this!....if only it WAS more like BLS.
I'm a life-long fan of Ozzy and Gus G is an amazing guitarist (check out his band FIREWIND), let's hope the rest of the album isn't like this.
I have seen many Ozzy tours, but the last time I saw him was Ozzfest in 2002 and he just wasn't up to it.

Its very formula ozzy for me - but from where I stand I think most of the Zakk stuff has been mediocre at best. The Randy stuff (every track) and a lot of the Jake E Lee stuff was great but then it all became very samey with maybe a song or two each album worth listening to. This sounds abit "sound like zakk" but without a pinch harmonic every 4th note....

At last. IMO Zakk was Ozzys 4th best guitar player. Really fast pentatonics. Big deal. Randy is the random factor. Probably could have been a phenomenon. If he'd lived.

My choice.

Jake: Randy
Brad Gillis
Zakk.

Going back to the guitar hero thing, I'd equate Jake as a player, Zakk as a hero. Insert cartoon imagery...
