Do you mean a propper Tribute band, playing the Tribute circuit...or, just a Van Halen 'covers' band...?????

A couple of friends of mine had a VH tribute band in Glasgow called Van Hielan.
The guitarist was not only the spit of Evh but also had 2 of Evh's actual guitars.
They were making a fortune and just eventually got sick of it, but the demand is there.

Well it'd have to be a Van Halen covers band I guess cos I don't look in any way like Eddie! Just thought there's not many doing it and it'd be good fun!

I used to play in a 'classic' rock band called The Verdict, we used to open with 'There's only one way to rock'.....great tune.
I think you'd need a keyboard player though.....

You don't really have to be a lookalike to do a tribute. We consider ourselves the latter and have a look at our bass player LOL

Go for it!
