AC/DC Tickets

If anyone has a spare ticket and is willing to sell for face value or there abouts then please give me a shout. I absolutely refuse to pay £185 for a £40 ticket. Why should these scumbags make a profit when they do nothing to earn it.

I know there are genuine fans out there who for valid reasons won't be able to make the gig. If you wanna make a massive profit by all means stick your spare ticket on ebay, but if you want to give it to a genuine fan then give me a shout.
Will happily travel to Birmigham and London...yes I'm that sad.

I got a ticket in the gods at M.E.N but they wouldn't accept American Express cards. Don't get paid until Tuesday so couldn't use me bank card...ARRRRRGH

Suppose I will wait until nearer the time and some tickets might surface.

Here is out wonderful government's view on touting. Time to vote these fuckers out...pardon my french

Government has been working with representatives from the sports and entertainment sectors to address the concerns and problems in the ticketing markets. Ticket touting is a concern where tickets are being resold for increased prices, increasingly via the internet on a secondary market. Government is firmly on the side of genuine fans against touts.

The focus has been on finding market-led solutions but regulatory options have not been ruled out. Some positive changes have been delivered as a result of this process including ticket exchange/returns mechanisms for fans to dispose of unwanted tickets and fair terms and conditions are being developed by the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR).

At present, the Government is not proposing new regulation or restrictions of a secondary market in tickets in general - indeed consumers want this kind of market. But Government remains concerned that ongoing ticket touting concerns could undermine particular events and consumer confidence. Therefore, it is looking at how cultural and sporting events of national significance - crown jewel events - can be protected from touting activities

In plain english : Tough shit so live with it you mindless tax paying moron

They'll argue it's all about supply and demand, if you don't pay £180 someone else will. I agree with you totally though but keep checking Ebay nearer the time as there's always genuine people selling tickets for a small profit for genuine reasons like "can't get time off work" etc....I managed to get 2 maiden tickets last year @ face value a week before the MEN gig off ebay....don't lose faith.

Ticketmaster had a link to another site called "getmein.com"
Apparently as soon as the tickets were sold they appeared on Getmein. The alloca\tion for each person box and online was 2 per person. Now on Get mein it's anything up to 10 per person.

EBAY is your only hope now.. apart from the odd good honest citizen.

I got a ticket in the gods...well my brother did.

Such was the hype for this gig I reckon you could go down on the night and get a decent price for a ticket.

Reading and listening to the radio it's like everyone got tickets apart from the fans!

I was hoping if I got my MADE TO LOOK DISTRESSED ACDC t-shirt from Topman I could get in for free?

Some bizarre criticism coming ACDC's way though via rock radio. One woman was saying that you can pay ticketmaster 500 notes a year and get any ticket you want. I was listening thinking no love that's called a corporate box!!!

Another was that ACDC's online fanclub (yes the official one) was not actually official but in fact UNOFFICIAL run by a woman somewhere in Manchester. So therefore no-one who subscribed for pre-release tickets was going to get then as the tickets didn't exist.

The stuff of legend I tell ye!

If you can't make it or get tickets check out LIVEWIRE at the Academy 3 on January 31st which is a Saturday. The best ACDC tribute out there...
