Try searching - blue aran - they do from cheapish to expensive - Have you checked across the terminals with a meter - if no reading on ohm's then they are dead...if you get 7-8 ohms on meter...they live.

If you can get replacement drivers..drop in n i'll fit em for ya :)\

Cheers

Rob,
I've used these people before. Don't know anyone local.
http://www.recones.com/
These days it is often cheaper to replace rather than re-cone, (unless it is a Black Widow or similar)
If you decide on the replacement route make sure the speaker has similar characteristics and will work in the same enclosure.
Just swapping say a 15" speaker for any other could produce really crap results.
As a matter of interest, what speaker do you need reconing?

I have blown 4 speakers in 2 cabs (bad night) eden 210xlt 4 ohm and an eden 210xst 4 ohm, I have a price of £550 to recone them or I import new ones from the states for about £500,

Rob,
Eden use Eminence speakers. They are "supposed" to be custom made but if you see through the Advertising, they are probably stock Eminence 10" drivers. You could swap the lot out for around £200-250.
I tried an Eminence driver in an Eden 1x15 and the difference was amazing. Still had the Eden warmth but it came alive. A mate of mine has it now and loves it.
I think i would be trying to find out "why" the speakers are blowing before doing anything.
Are you sure they have blown? It seems a bit weird that they have all gone.
If I can be of any help at all, give me shout.
Cheers,
Stuart

I'd check if you can get the Kevlar coated ones that Trace elliot used to use.

@ Kerbcrawlers.

TE speakers are made by Jenson, who seem to have oursourced most of their production to china now. Problem is the TE Cabs are not the same dimensions as Eden so they could sound great or could sound shite.

Hi Stuart,
I could do with some advice tbh, I was under the impression that eden speakers were built by eden up to the last 2 years then they changed to eminence I may be wrong though. I can have a recone done from surrey amps for £110 plus vat and postage per speaker and thats appears expensive or I can import them for about $120 plus $175 post for the 4, I could get new cabs for that !

I wouldnt have a clue where to get emenance replacements from and even less idea about what ones to use.

I think I blew them through misuse I had 2 x 4ohm cabs running at full chaff at a large venue with no pa support and I simply needed more speakers for the size of gig, although saying that I set the gain correctly and the eq was flat, I had a speaker limit light come on but not constant just a slight flicker indicating I was getting towards the limit, no clipping though. my wt550 will have put out about 350w into each cab and the 2 cabs were rated at 350w for the xlt and 500 for the xst.

They are defo blown you can see the crease in the cones.

For the price I would pay to have them re done I am halfway to getting a nice set of bergantinos.

On the plus side the new overwater is awesome

Rob, PM me a phone number, (pref a landline cause it's free), and I'll bell you tomorrow.

Am just off to a Gig with the Jazz/Fusion band, so after the Grand Prix tomorrow would be good.
Glad you love the Overwater, just going to give my ACG some.
Speak soon,
Stuart
