Tried it. Liked it. Would use it again.

Firstly, let me just mention Mike @ EFX. Mike has always been good to us Whatever! boys and we'll continue to support EFX in any way we can.

However, tonight we tried Pear Studios on the back of their advertising on NWB, and I have to say we were very impressed.

Comparing the two is like comparing apples with (pardon the pun) pears. They both cater for very different tastes. It's like comparing a Travelodge and a Hilton. A Travelodge does what it says on the tin, whereas with the Hilton you get all the bells and whistles but it costs a bit more. And so it is with Pear Studios. They are a little more expensive than some rehearsal studios (but not all) but the level of equipment and the sound quality is phenomenal.

I dare say we'll still use both studios as half of us live near town and the other half live in South Manchester, but if anyone is looking for a rehearsal studio in South Manchester, I would have no hesitation in recommending Pear Studios.

I will second that.
Great room, great P.A, 4 monitors one for all of us.
8 X 10 Ashdown bass cab and Trace elliot head.
Fender tweed guitar amp and a drum kit!!!!!!
and more gear if we needed it,all in the price of the room.
There was even a fender telecaster in the room.
These are brand new rooms very comfy and all the gear looks new.
Great Rehearsal studio.
