Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy...

Is anyone interested...really?

So the new Guns N Roses single 'Chinese Democracy' debuted on Radio 1 played by the lovely named Sarah Cox. Did anyone hear it? Does anyone actually care though? Is it too little too late? At least the likes of Metallica and AC\DC are still what you could class as a BAND...whereas GnR 2008 is just Axl and a few hired hands...

I thought it was a bit so-so it sounds like it's going to be spectacular in the chorus then nothing really happens...Black Pilate don't play GnR but Appetite For Destruction still remains one of our favourite records.

I've got the 9 leaked songs from chinese democracy, and to say that they are all utter mince is an understatement.

Then again, it has been suggested that the 9 songs were leaked deliberately to create more publicity for the album and the song that is on Rock Band 2 was not one of them.

Like it needs it.

I will wait til it comes out, download it and iff by some miracle it turns out to be good, I will buy it....but that's not gonna happen.

Lets face it, 14 years is a long time in music, the last time G'n'R released a proper studio album, there was no such thing as an mp3 and the internet was a very slow connection between a couple of universities.

Can't wait to see dr pepper sh!t themselves after promising a can to every single american if CD gets released this year.

After watching them on the VMA's when he debuted his new lineup...it was the end for me. Great players...but GnR is dead.

I forgot about all the Dr Pepper comment LOL...quality...

I recently read Slash's autobiography. Whilst he comes across as a likeable guy who hasn't really changed much. Axl Rose came across as a raging egomaniac who was slightly touched. Near Slash's exit from the band it gets to the point where all Slash's guitar parts are mailed to Axl who approves\disapproves them. He will never meet him face to face and the closest part Slash gets to talking to Axl in the end is behind a screen at the studio LOL...ridiculous!

apparently the albums coming out on 24th november i cant wait to get me hands on it, i do like some of the songs ive heard like the blues, madagasgar, catcher in the rye it seems to have an epic feel to it i just hope the album lives up to the expectation after waiting so long.

id rather just listen to Appetite, illusions are good, but theyve only really ever made that one amazingly good first album, which is a shame cos when they were GNR it was awesome, it just isnt GNR with Axl whatsoever :-(
