We all used to play this place until it got a new landlady who didn't like Rock Music! She only wanted Soul bands on? I hope shes gone or she'll be chuck'in you out after the first set???
yeah, i depped on the drums with cornerstones the quietest band in the nwbs bands line up and she loved them, so best of luck with it lads.
Its a nice place big space to play in and the land lord is a nice guy and like rock music we are there in july. Have a good gig.
We play there quite a bit, its a fantastic venue. Usually a load of heads in (who clap etc), decent sized area to play. The beer is good and Phil is a real gem. He really is world class. I am gona come down on Friday I saw it advertised and was somewhat intrigued buy the name haha
To Dyehouse, she was a weirdo. They also had a lot of problems with neighbours about noise levels (That would be our fault) so for a while the place moved away from bands. It has changed hands three times in the last 12 month but Phil is there for the long term and is a big music fan so everybody should get down there
We've got 2 bookings in from our singer going in to see him. Phil appears very keen, so here's hoping. :o)
