What do you do?

Was just wondering what resources everyone uses for advertising, especially in there own areas.
For example, I have done or will be doing the following for our gig at the pheasant Pluckers :-
1.Nwb
2.facebook - friends and metalleeka group members
3.myspace
4.whatsonwigan
5.skiddle
6.eventful
7.free ad in LEP what's on guide
8.kerrang gig guide
9.give posters to venue and ask them to put them up locally not just the pub
10.I've put up posters in the takeways in coppul.

Anyone got any other advertising tips?

Cheers

Scott

I make my little flash videos too! Takes me an absolute age to do them cos i'm not that way inclined really, but they seem to go down well!

Indeed it is both a fantastic venue and in the middle of nowhere. I'm gonna advertise this as much as I can to see if it really makes a difference. Let's see what happens. Steve and Sharon are lovely and deserve to get a return for persisting with live music even though a majority of the time the place is empty.
