just out of interest

Just out of pure interest how often do you all practice, and how often do you bring in new numbers into your sets.

Once a week for rehearsal.

Probably once or twice a month for new songs.

1 rehearsal per week. depends on the new songs front - we've had about 4 in the last month, but probably only about 2 or 3 in the previous 3 months.

Once a fortnight. New songs....we always have new songs to look at but because we only rehearse every two weeks it can take time before we introduce them into the set. It is good when they instantly come together though.

Other bands once a week.

we practice once a week and we add new songs every time the new moon is in venus!!! Gone are the days when you learnt 6 or 7 songs a week it would appear!!

2 a month, every chance for new songs - normally try three or four and drop the ones that don't work after three tries,

hope that helps,

Rick.

I really enjoy rehearsing. It's part of the fun for me. I'd say we spend at least a third of the rehearsal time laughing.

Once in a blue moon, whenever we are learning new stuff, typically 4 or 5 new songs in a rehearsal. Then they`re in the set at the next gig.

Never been a fan of rehearsing...not so bad though because there's only so much old Punk stuff you can do (that people recognise).
We have a bank of about 50 songs rehearsed and tested live...then for each gig we just pick 30-34 depending where we're playing.
Although we did get together on Monday...but thats because there may be a slight change in the band soon...but I cant say just yet.

once a week normally... and new stuff like Dream Theater can a good few weeks to tidy up.. so we mix it with a simpler one.. so that 2 per month at a push...

DELIRIUM practice about 2-3 times a month.
We try about 1-2 new songs per month.

ANGEL OF SIN do 1 rehearsal before each show. We're not doing any new songs as it's just a side-project now and will be even quieter soon as Vikki is currently expecting.
