Summary of the weekend :)
On Friday we played to a small but feisty crowd at Global in Ossy a great atmosphere and a great night they even had a mosh pit going on. Thanks to the support band I'm sure we'll see more of them in the future.
Saturday we played The Albion in Clayton-le-Moors for the first time hopeing we'd actually get some punters in as Something Else (another local band) where playing at the Welly (200 yards away). As things go it wasn't too bad with quite a decent crowd. I think we even gained some of the other bands fans. We'll be back at The Albion later in the year.
On Sunday at Mackies Oswaldtwistle an excellent turn out 'After The Blast' kicked the night off with some great tunes Artic Monkeys, Blur & the Who to name a few. A great bunch of lads and for a first ever gig they did amazing. It was a year ago Absolute Heroes did their first gig at Mackies and Sunday was a great way to celebrate, to all those who came it made it a night to remember.
Monday we played at Marigolds as part of Darwen Live Festival. There's always a great crowd at Marigolds and having to follow the great Jamie Mac Band we had to give it all we had and we did, pumping out song after song to get as many in as possible. What an eventful weekend. Thanks to Global, The Albion, Mackies & Marigolds and all their staff for making us very welcome and to all who came along, thanks for being part of our BIG WEEKEND.
This Friday we are at O'Neill's Blackburn and Saturday Old Isaacs Atherton.
